I'm Ben Emery, an American living in Düsseldorf with my German wife and our two children.

For more than twenty years, I've worked with groups of people navigating conflict, harm, and seemingly irreconcilable differences—in families, schools, organizations, and communities across several continents.

My background is in restorative justice: the messy work of group identity in the wake of tragedy.

Much of the work begins with a simple curiosity - What becomes possible when people who have every reason to avoid one another find themselves in the same room?​
